So I’m in Brown University for 3 months as a Visiting Fulbright Scholar in the Department of LitArts. During this time I get to audit Professor John Cayley’s Cave Writing Class which is great as that’s what I’m here for i.e. to make a multicultural digital poem using the CAVE. For a bit of variety and so that I don’t spend my entire 3 months here on my own in a cave albeit a digital one, I am also going to audit a course called Future Lives taught by Dr. Peter Bussigel who is artist-in-residence at the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts in Brown. This is the same building that the CAVE is in, so that’s nice.
The Granoff Center for the Creative Arts is an awesome building, just a really great space and an alien lives in the elevator.
And when I say home, I don’t mean Maynooth Co. Kildare in Ireland where I live I mean my new USA home for 3 months in Providence, Rhode Island which is in a cool renovated house on Dexter Street, I found it on airbnb and it is great.
